Daniel P. Donovan

Mr. Donovan practices in commercial litigation, with an emphasis in ad valorem tax valuation disputes and eminent domain/condemnation issues. He received his bachelor’s degree, with honors, from Sam Houston State University in 1976, and his law degree, with honors, from Texas Tech University in 1980. Mr. Donovan began his legal career as a briefing attorney for United States District Judge Mary Lou Robinson. Mr. Donovan is the section leader of the Geary Porter and Donovan’s Property Tax Law Group. He has over twenty-five years of experience in litigating ad valorem tax appeals throughout the state of Texas. He was admitted to the State Bar of Texas in 1980 and has been admitted to practice before the United States Supreme Court.
