Carolyn J. Chinn

Ms. Chinn practices in business litigation, with an emphasis in ad valorem tax litigation. She received her bachelor’s degree from the University of Georgia at Athens in 2000 and her law degree from Florida State University in 2004, where she served as the Florida Bar Representative for the Student Bar Association. She studied European Union Law and Politics in the summer of 2002 through the College of William & Mary School of Law Program in Madrid, Spain, and served as a speaker’s fellow to the Florida House of Representatives during her third year of law school. Before coming to work for the firm, Ms. Chinn served as an attorney for the Florida Senate Judiciary Committee.

Ms. Chinn was admitted to the State Bar of Texas in 2007 and the State Bar of Florida in 2004 where she serves as the out-of-state delegate to the Board of Governors for the Florida Bar’s Young Lawyers Division. She is also a member of the Dallas Bar Association and the Dallas Young Lawyers Association. She was a member of the 2008 DAYL Leadership Class and continues to serve as a committee co-chair planning socials for DAYL.
