Amy Reilly Sallusti is a shareholder with Geary, Porter & Donovan, P.C. and practices in the areas of business, commercial, and general litigation, with an emphasis in representing the interests of property owners in ad valorem tax litigation, eminent domain and condemnation issues, and property tax planning and consultation.  She received her bachelor's degree from the University of Oklahoma in 1996, her law degree, with honors, from the same university in 1999, and attended Queen's College, Oxford University, Oxford, England in the summer of 1997.  Mrs. Sallusti was a member of the American Bar Association, Phi Delta Phi, Student Bar Association Board of Governors, and the 1999 Appellate Advocacy Moot Court Team while in law school.  She is currently a member of the Dallas Bar Association and the Texas and Dallas Associations of Young Lawyers. 

Mrs. Sallusti's professional activities include Commercial Real Estate Women (CREW), where she served as a speaker at the 2004 Texas Connection Conference on ad valorem taxation issues, is currently the Chair of the 2006 CREW Classic Graphics Committee, and a member of the Programs Committee.  She is also the Vice Chair of the State Bar of Texas Property Tax Committee and is a member of the Institute of Professionals in Taxation (IPT), the Texas Association of Assessing Officers (TAAO), and the Texas Association of Property Tax Professionals (TAPTP), where she has served as a speaker and panelist at various conferences held throughout the State of Texas on ad valorem taxation issues since 2000.  Mrs. Sallusti has authored an article pertaining to ad valorem taxation issues entitled A Last Chance Opportunity for Tax Relief which was published in the CREW Dallas newsletter, November 2002.  Mrs. Sallusti was a former Chair of the DAYL Child Support Enforcement Committee, a member of the 2004 DAYL Leadership Class, and a volunteer for the Dallas Bar Association, Lawyers in the Classroom Project, Law Week 2002.

Mrs. Sallusti's honors include her selection as a 2006 Texas Rising Star Young Lawyer, and her previous selections as a 2004 and 2005 Texas Rising Star Young Lawyer, 2003 America's Registry of Outstanding Professionals, 2002 Strath Moore's Who's Who, and 2001 Patrick E. Higginbotham Inn of Court.  Mrs. Sallusti was admitted to the State Bar of Texas in 1999 and is also admitted to practice in the United States District Courts for the Northern, Eastern, Southern and Western Districts of Texas.  Mrs. Sallusti was born in Okemah, Oklahoma in 1974.  Not Certified by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization.
